ER Yacht Design presents ER 110 Untouchable, a new 110-meter megayacht project conceived around timeless proportions, sculptural surfaces, and an uncompromising connection with the sea.

Rather than relying on extreme styling or short-lived design trends, Untouchable derives her presence from balance, clarity, and carefully controlled form. Her long horizontal lines, sweeping deck overhangs, and uninterrupted bands of glazing create a profile that is calm and elegant, yet unmistakably powerful.

The yacht’s architecture develops progressively from the strong, near-vertical bow toward a series of expansive aft decks, giving the vessel a sense of movement even at rest. Each level is shaped as part of a continuous composition, with the superstructure surfaces flowing naturally into the exterior living areas.

The result is a yacht that is commanding without appearing aggressive, extravagant without excess, and contemporary without compromising her long-term appeal.

Developed Beyond a Conventional Concept

Untouchable has been developed considerably beyond the level of a typical preliminary concept.

A comprehensive three-dimensional model defines the principal hull and superstructure geometry, exterior surfaces, and architectural relationships throughout the vessel. The design is supported by developed general arrangements, preliminary technical specifications, and propulsion studies, providing a credible foundation for further customization, engineering, and shipyard development.

This advanced level of definition allows prospective owners and shipyards to evaluate the project not simply as a visual proposal, but as a serious and technically considered platform ready to progress toward construction.

The yacht is intended to be built with a steel hull and aluminum superstructure, combining the structural strength and seakeeping characteristics required for extended cruising with the weight savings appropriate for a yacht of this scale.

Architecture Shaped Around the Sea

The relationship between the interior, exterior decks, and surrounding water is central to the design.

Large areas of floor-to-ceiling glazing extend along the principal guest decks, bringing natural light deep into the yacht while maintaining panoramic views throughout the interior. The long glass façades are framed by sculpted deck edges that provide shade, privacy, and a strong architectural identity without interrupting the visual connection with the sea.

The exterior decks are conceived as natural extensions of the interior rather than as separate spaces. Generous circulation routes, uninterrupted sightlines, and carefully layered terraces allow the yacht to transition seamlessly between formal entertaining, private relaxation, and open-air living.

The expansive foredeck provides a particularly private exterior retreat, while the upper decks offer multiple settings for dining, lounging, and larger social occasions. The arrangement allows each deck to maintain its own character while remaining visually connected to the overall design.

A Multilevel Waterfront Experience

The aft section of Untouchable is conceived as one of the yacht’s defining lifestyle environments.

Rather than incorporating a conventional enclosed beach club, the design creates a multilevel waterfront destination extending from the main aft deck to the swim platform.

A large swimming pool forms the centerpiece of the upper beach club terrace, framed by broad stairways descending toward the water. Below, the main beach club opens directly onto the swim platform and incorporates a full-service bar, lounge areas, and extensive spaces for relaxation and entertainment.

Large fold-down hull-side terraces expand the usable platform over the water and open the beach club laterally to the sea. When deployed, they transform the stern into a broad waterfront environment with multiple areas for sunbathing, swimming, socializing, and accessing tenders and water toys.

The arrangement is intended to evoke the atmosphere of a private waterfront resort while preserving a clear and elegant connection with the yacht’s overall architecture.

Aviation and Long-Range Capability

Untouchable is designed for owners who wish to travel extensively and operate with a high degree of independence.

A dedicated helicopter deck is integrated into the aft section of the upper deck. The arrangement is intended to support fully certified helicopter operations, subject to detailed engineering and approval by the relevant flag-state, classification, and aviation authorities. The proposed installation also incorporates onboard helicopter refueling and defueling systems, supporting private transfers and operations in remote cruising areas.

The positioning of the helideck allows it to remain operationally separated from the principal guest spaces while retaining convenient access to the yacht’s interior.

The proposed propulsion concept is based on a hybrid diesel-electric shaft-line arrangement incorporating controllable-pitch propellers, integrated Promas propeller-and-rudder systems, and power take-in/power take-off electric drive capability.

This configuration is intended to provide efficient operation across a wide range of speeds and load conditions, together with enhanced maneuverability, operational flexibility, and reduced noise and vibration.

The preliminary performance objectives include a cruising speed of approximately 17 knots and a range exceeding 8,500 nautical miles, subject to final naval architecture, machinery selection, displacement, and tank-capacity development.

This combination of range, speed, and aviation capability would allow Untouchable to travel comfortably between established yachting destinations and more remote regions while maintaining the refinement expected of a world-class private yacht.

A Fresh and Contemporary Interior

The interior continues the exterior design philosophy through calm proportions, sculptural detailing, and a restrained yet unmistakably luxurious material palette.

Light-toned natural woods, soft ivory textiles, stone surfaces, and warm metallic accents create a fresh and contemporary atmosphere throughout the principal guest areas. Carefully integrated indirect lighting emphasizes the architectural forms without overwhelming the spaces.

The Main Salon

The main salon is conceived on an impressive scale, with panoramic glazing, generous seating areas, and a clear central axis leading toward the formal dining space. Despite its volume, the interior remains welcoming and residential rather than overly formal.

Formal Dining

The dining room combines a sense of occasion with uninterrupted views of the sea, creating a refined setting that remains connected to the surrounding environment.

The Owner’s Suite

The owner’s suite introduces a softer and more private interpretation of the same design language. A full-width sleeping area, private lounge, and extensive glazing create an open yet intimate retreat.

A Private Spa Environment

The owner’s bathroom is arranged as a private spa environment, with symmetrical vanities, a central freestanding bathtub, and a direct visual connection with the surrounding seascape.

Throughout the yacht, the interior and exterior have been developed as a single, coherent composition. Materials, proportions, sightlines, and lighting are coordinated to create a continuous experience extending from the principal salons and private suites to the open decks and beach club.
