In essence, true classic designs are guided by purpose. Every element has a clear reason to exist. Forms are balanced and restrained, with simplicity and minimalism driven by function rather than fashion. There are no drastic compromises, only a calm harmony between all components of the design. This inherent balance is what makes these yachts feel natural and instinctively pleasing to any observer.

Elevating classic design to a contemporary level means keeping this philosophy while embracing the latest technology, advanced materials, and modern principles of naval architecture. When these innovations are applied with respect for proportion and clarity, they enhance the classic idea instead of competing with it. The result is what I describe as Modern Classic design: refined, enduring yachts that age with grace.

The final expression depends on the designer and the ability to shape volume, line, and detail with precision. Minimalism, which often accompanies classic design, is one of the most demanding directions a designer can choose. Because the forms are so clean, even the smallest flaw in a surface or a curve becomes immediately visible. Modern Classic design therefore reveals the designer’s true skill and artistry in every line.

ER 90 · Boundless Horizon

Introducing the ER 90, a modern timeless 90 m expedition motor yacht created for owners who see the world as their cruising ground. This is a yacht without boundaries, designed for an ambitious family that seeks adventure in the most inspiring and remote destinations on earth.

Developed from the proven platform of a previous expedition yacht, ER 90 is engineered for extremes. Her hull and systems are conceived to operate confidently from the icy reaches of the Arctic and Antarctic to the warm waters of the Caribbean and the secluded coves of the Mediterranean.

Long-range capability, generous storage, and carefully planned guest areas allow guests to travel in comfort and security for extended periods. Owners can step aboard knowing they are cruising on one of the most capable and luxurious expedition yachts afloat.

ER 61 PROJECT “ECO”,“Dangerously Beautiful”

Originally created for Turquoise Yachts, this 61 m project expresses the pure elegance and clarity of Timeless Modern design. A sculpted hull and distinctive superstructure openings give ER 61 an instantly recognisable character, both powerful and refined.

Smooth, elongated lines flow into a sporty semi-displacement hull that delivers high speeds with controlled resistance. Expansive exterior decks include an upper deck entertainment area for up to 35 guests. Folding hull sides aft open to reveal an impressive beach club centred around a six-metre pool, creating a dramatic waterside terrace.

Accommodation is arranged across four decks. On the main deck, a generous salon and dining area are framed by full-height windows that offer nearly 300 degrees of uninterrupted views. Six luxurious guest cabins are also located on this deck, each with tall windows that bring the seascape directly into the cabin.

The entire upper deck is dedicated to the owner, providing exceptional privacy, comfort, and panoramic views that make every passage feel like a private escape.

ER 56 PROJECT “LOGOS” 56 m Performance Cruising Sloop

ER 56 “LOGOS” is a performance cruising sloop that unites ultra-modern minimalism with timeless, pure lines. Sailing yachts of this character are where the studio feels most at home. Over the years ER Yacht Design has created racing yachts and long-range blue-water cruisers, and sailing was the original passion that led Ivan Erdevicki into yacht design.

Several features make LOGOS 56 distinctive, many of them unique to the studio. One of the key elements is the proprietary double-foil keel, known as the “Erdevicki Keel”. Proven on existing yachts, this keel provides a very shallow draft, excellent upwind ability, and outstanding stability, all while preserving performance.

The hull features flared topsides around the deckhouse, carefully integrated with a reverse, lowered sheer line. This geometry keeps the cockpit dry under sail, improves visibility from the deckhouse, and contributes to the yacht’s strong profile and comfort at sea.

Below deck, LOGOS 56 offers a refined and efficient interior layout that follows the same Modern Classic philosophy. Generous natural light, clear circulation, and balanced proportions create a calm and elegant atmosphere for owners and guests. Every element is designed to support serious passage making, competitive performance, and relaxed family cruising in equal measure, making LOGOS 56 a true all-round performance cruising yacht.
